Nutrition Counseling Video ConferencingUniversity Health Services (UHS) has partnered with Mend Telehealth & Telemedicine to provide a videoconference meeting option for our established nutrition clients. Using the camera and microphone on your computer, tablet, or mobile device*, Mend allows UHS to connect with you through a secure video connection.
How does it work?
Established clients may schedule a Nutrition Follow Up Video Conference appointment at (405) 744-7665 or through the UHS Health Portal at https://okstateportal.pointnclick.com. Using your Okey email and password, log in to the Portal and click on Appointments, followed by Schedule an Appointment > Nutrition Counseling > Follow Up Visit > Video Conference. Select a convenient day and time for your schedule and book the appointment.
Soon after your appointment is scheduled, you will receive communication from Mend asking you to confirm your appointment and test your video and audio connection. 30 minutes before your appointment starts, you will receive an email and a text message with a direct link to your video conference. Click the link and enter your date of birth. If you are connecting with a mobile device, you will need to download the Mend app. Once the app is downloaded, enter the six-digit session code to join. When you connect to the video session, your provider will be notified and will join the session soon.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of appointments, or there will be a $25 missed appointment fee. Cancellations must be made during normal business hours and cancellations are accepted by phone only at (405) 744-7556.
