  • Associate Director of Clinical Operations
    This position is part of UHS leadership team, which contributes and participates in activities to support the overall mission of the department. Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to clinic employees including nursing, lab, and x-ray. Oversee clinical referrals, clinical student staff and counseling partnerships.   • Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
    Clinically competent, licensed, professional PMHNP, responsible for providing psychiatric and mental health care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, and treating under the applicable mandated supervision of a licensed physician. Educate patients on mental health management, coping strategies, and preventive care to enhance their psychological well-being and outcomes. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with mental health needs.   • Licensed Practical Nurse
    Perform patient care duties; recognize acute situations and determine priorities. Interview patient to obtain history related to presenting symptoms. Knowledge of emergency procedures, i.e. CPR, Heimlich, air way maintenance and seizure precautions. Assist practitioner in examination. Competent in administration of PO, ID, SQ, and IM medications; inhalation treatments and wound care. IV certification/training a plus. Capable of some independent action and decision making but works under supervision of an RN or practitioner. Instructs patient in how to safely continue treatment at home, management of any side-effects, recognition of complications, outcome of treatment, and recommended follow-up.   • Digital Marketing, Communications, & Outreach Events Intern
    This internship will collaborate with and learn from our Manager of Marketing and Communications and our Community Engagement Coordinator. The internship will focus on several areas including designing and executing strategies on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. This student will be expected to improve UHS social media presence and assist in the promotion of UHS services through in-person events and disseminate timely information regarding campus health care.Learn More
  • Healthcare Administration Intern
    This internship will collaborate with and our Associate Director of Administrative Operations, our Manager of Business Operations, and other team members to learn about the clinical and administrative side of college health care at Oklahoma State University Health Services. The internship will focus on researching, writing, and crafting standard operating procedure manuals for business office team members and other specific tasks and responsibilities. Along with writing daily operational checklists, these SOPs will assist with new team member training and ongoing training for current staff, and customer service. Through interviews and conversations with current team members, the intern will craft user manuals for internal coworker interactions, customer service, and financial processes. Learn More
